NIGHTLIFE IN LAS AMERICAS

Las Americas has one of the hottest nightlife spots in Tenerife, in the past it has been renound for its crazy youths and lager lout brits, but it has calmed down considerably and become a little classier. There is so much to do in this area at night time that you will certainly not be bored.

SHOWS

Piramides Arona – Is a high class performance, set in beautiful surroundings, just up from the beach. The performance comes in the way of a ballet or a musical, and the cast change the show once a year.

Sound of Musicals Tenerife Comedy Club – Just on the outskirts of Las Americas, in the old Karting club, a mixture of comedians put on a great show once a month. The show generally falls on the first weekend of every month. There is a bar on site, and the show is sure to crack a few giggles. Minimum age of entry is 16.

Rock Story, Exit Palace – this place is also on the outskirts of Las Americas, the show given here is following the theme of a musical, but stars great cover groups of some major bands. New shows are put on every couple of months, so check out their website for up to date show information.

CASINOS

Casino De Las Americas – Set in the lower floor of Tenerife Sur, the Casino is situated in one of the best areas of Las Americas. In the Casino you can enjoy the nice ambiance and take part in the normal table games such as Poker, Black Jack and Roulette. There are also an abundance of gambling machines, where you can test your luck.

BARS AND NIGHTCLUBS

There are no lack of bars or nightclubs in Las Americas. They range from very high class to very seedy, depending on what your tastes are, and what area you decide to visit.

Some of the classier bars are located in and around the Safari Centre, here you have Monkey Bar, Monkey Magic, Harrys Bar. Not too far away from this area is a very classy nightclub called Tibu. It has been styled with a Morrocan theme, and is certainly worth a look. El Faro and Monkey Beach are also great nightspots, both of which are set above the beach with beautiful views of the sea.

In the heart of Las Americas, you will find Veronicas strip and Starco just under the bridge. These bars blast out up to date tunes from popular DJs, they play until the sun comes up, and generally attract a younger crowd wanting to get drunk and dance the night away.

Behind Starco, in some of the back streets here, you will also find some strip bars, providing entertainment, and dances from their girls.

Wherever you decide to go out in Las Americas, it is a lively night including plenty of entertainment, with something to suit everyone.
