Easter Week brings 47,770 cruise passengers to Canarias. 27,320 to Tenerife

From the total of the cruise passengers, 27,320 disembarked in some of the ports of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife province; while 20,450 tourists disembarked in the Las Palmas port, according to the data gathered by Europa Press from the port authorities of the archipelago.

Therefore, to the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Tenerife Island and La Palma’s port) arrived 6,870 more tourists than on the eastern province.

To be precise, regarding Santa Cruz de Tenerife port, the day of more movement was on Saturday, 3rd of April, when it received about 10,400 cruise passengers; approximately the half of the number what was expected for the vacation period of Easter Week.

These 10,400 tourists docked at Santa Cruz de Tenerife brought by four vessels, which were the ‘Aidaluna’, ‘Costa Victoria’, ‘Minerva’ and ‘Ventura’.

Likewise, the port ‘de la Luz’ and the port of ‘Las Palmas’, at the capital, also have their day of major tourist affluence on Saturday 3rd of April, receiving three cruises which were the ‘Island Escape’ the ‘Costa Marina’ and the ‘Black Watch’ which brought with them more than 3,000 passengers onboard.

The port of Arrecife, at Lanzarote, has its ‘great day’ today Sunday, with two vessels that disembarked 1,350 tourists.

In the case of the Santa Cruz de la Palma port, three ships docked, which were ‘Island Escape’, ‘Costa Marina’ and ‘Ventura’ that have onboard about 5,000 cruise passengers.
