The mayor of Adeje, José Miguel Rodriguez Fraga, set the cornerstone together with the president of the awarded construction company Traysesa, Miguel Concepción, and the president of the company that will manage the facility, Pedro Benítez from Body Factory Canarias.

The structure of the sports complex is connected to the municipality swim pool of the El Galeón, through a “biodynamic” architecture where stands out the sustainability and “green”, explained the project’s architects.

The building will be addressed to all ages and social sectors of the population and will permit to incorporate sports on the everyday life of the users.

Mr. Concepción highlighted that the center adapts to the needs of the population of the south of Tenerife, and that it serves as reference not only for Adeje but for Arona o Guía de Isora.

The municipality of Adeje is registered at the Red Española de Ciudades Saludables (Spanish Net of Healthy Cities).

The sports complex counts with programs for children, third age, adults, and pregnant women.

The complex will count with a playroom for kids from 3 to 9 years old, a restaurant and coffee bar, and a sick bay.
